Atrikd the land here is flat and lush, unlike the sparse pastures in the mountains of Nordais, pleased take courage and sail aboard the Dawnraider. She will carry you safely to this new land, where our children may grow steeped in the old ways. Vestrhaf is not the sea of death that our ancestors believed. Yes the sea may have anger, but it is nothing to the anger of Thor if we give up our belief in him. The Christians may follow their god. If we must leave Nordais, let it be for a better land and the freedom to follow our beliefs. Our ancestors children, should Thor bless us, will play in a land of freedom. Footnote: I have written two novels based around the Viking period. Within these novels there are many interesting characters, plus a magical ship called Dawnrider. It begins to feel like I am being tempted to revisit those novels.
