Down but not Out
Most days something special happens, and then I try to write down the amazing thoughts that cross my mind, but I my muse will not cooperate. So tonight I am fighting back. Yes it’s like having a car that has no engine. My mind is like a flower garden, but a harsh frost has covered the garden wilting its perceived beauty. Yes my fingers are numb with cold, but the rays of the sun light up the hoar of a bitterly cold night and a different type of beauty returns…
A mesmerising melange of metaphor
If only I was able to write such a comment, I would be content, thank you Neil
This is absolutely wonderful, Michael!
Thank you Dale, I am attempting to write again,… my ability to respond to other posts is frustratingly poor. Mike
Nice flow with this one.

Michael, welcome back. Love the image of the snoozing porker. Nothing beats a long rest when the nights are long at this time of year.
Dear Michael,
Welcome back to the FFFold! This was simply lovely.
