Since childhood years I have constructed model railways in OO scale. Then ten years ago I added G scale to my modelling interests. For me constructing a model railway is like writing, for I find that I build a whole world around my model as it develops. I am in fact painting a picture about the world I am nurturing, sometime a fictional picture and sometimes I may attempt a factual picture. In my modelling, just like my writing I make mistakes, but I hope to continue  both interests even if I need these days to keep using a eraser.

This evening like many other Tuesday nights I travelled to Keighley to attend a model railway club. For me as for many members of this club there is a strong social element to our attendance. To night members of the Shipley model railway club joined us for the evening. The building in which their club rooms are situated, is out of use following flood damage.
