All in a Lifetime…
Charlotte knew that skimpy dressed lads were not her thing. She looked for those individuals who had taken pleasure in how they appeared. Even a lifeguard, if they were intelligent enough, could make small touches to attract her. Charlotte liked her hair flicked back, even if these days she stooped alittle because of arthritis. Today her dress code was loose and cool, overlaid with gold. An expensive watch adorned her left wrist. A finely tooled bracelet had been placed on her right wrist, balance was important to her. The large gold drop between her breasts moved gently as she breathed in the sea air.
Each item she used in her daily dress code was a reminder of a man. She nearly always started with Thomas, his youthful enthusiasm had made up for their inexperience. Later Fredrick taught her much. Josh was a shock, all he knew was speed, Ralf had fingers that knew how to scintillate, it had been a shock to find out that he was married. Now nearing seventy, she smiled at the old codger ogling her. He must be in his late eighties. But he had great dress style. Tonight might turn out to be fun after all.
There’s life in the ‘ole gal yet! Gentlemen beware!
Only gentlemen of a certain cultured appearance need to beware, at least I am safe.
It truly is amazing how the same path is interpreted by each individual.
I went with a mystery…
Under Pressure
I am always interested to see where a photo prompt will lead flash writers.
I like her zest for life 🙂
Zest, it is a lovely way to describe to describe her, sharp and a acquired taste.
A woman is only as old as she feels.
So true, Charlotte is determined to be happy, she is full of zest for life.
Seventy years young she is 🙂
Indeed she is. She believes that age should not be a barrier to enjoying life.
Must say she’s still got a lot of spark. Wonderful write, Michael.
Why thank you Neel, maintaining that spark is a priority for her.
