As usual these events start with a bacon butty, then we get down to the real business of entertaining our visitors. Fortunately Bear Mountain behaved well, and so the fifty or so kids who tried their hand at operating the layout seemed to really enjoy themselves. At one point however I thought we might have had a new born join us, as a heavily pregnant lady collapsed into my operator’s chair. Yes it was an eventful day, all round.
