Trouble brewing
Just keeping it warm you know, till she returns. We have been together for six years and we have been getting on handsomely since I learned to let her sleep in. She has recently been treating me to freshly cooked prawns, they are my favourite. However I am worried for there is a new guy on the block. Turns up on a shabby old motorbike, in fact his whole style is shabby, clothes shabby, hair shabby, shoes shabby, what can I say, he is just all over shabby. Smiles at me, but I think I am for the high jump.
Some women prefer the shabby, I guess. At least he has an idea of what might be coming, though he may be worrying over nothing!
I like to think that the cat is worrying over nothing, thank you for commenting draliman.
Hah. They’ll just have to learn to get along, the lady’s heart is big enough to love both cats, I think. I love it.
I was so pleased to read your comment, … as I am having great difficulties posting comments on the new updated WordPress site.
Time for a makeover perhaps – maybe cawl though some hedges, roll in the mud. Or not!
Your idea about what the cat should do, sounds just like what my dog enjoys doing…. I was pleased to read your comment as I am having great difficulties posting comments on the new WordPress site
I love the voice of the cat …Hopefully it won’t be as bad as he thinks and could well be better.

The cat knows… or is simply jealous!
Good one.
True, thank you Dale
Dear Michael,
Everyone has their preferences. Nicely done.
Shalom,
Rochelle
That true, thank you Rochelle
Maybe he’ll get lucky and the guy will be allergic to cats.. Nice write, Michael.
The cat hopes so, thank you Violet
If she’s going to boot him for Mr. Shabby, then she’s not worth the trouble.
But she loves them both, the cat will be safe, Mr Shabby will learn, that the cat has priority.
I love the line about letting her sleep in. Clever cat. I think he’ll figure out a way to win out over this shabby newcomer. Fun story.
Thank you so much Margaret
Are the prawns for you or the shabby guy? If for you, then I will not be worried.
They will both get prawns, she loves them both, the shabby guy will learn to like the cat, and my prediction is that the cat will except the guy.
