The Cell
A thin layer of ice lined the walls, I shivered as I studied my present situation. Being marooned in space was not my idea of fun. Leaving the porthole I started exploring the industrial looking corridors. Behind shuttered doors I found all sorts of bizarre exhibits. It was beginning to look as if this craft was a roving space museum. I had to hope that there was not a cell waiting for me.
Mr Bond it is nice to meet you at last, I am Zorran curator of this space craft, you are required to join the character section, please follow me. Escape is impossible.
Footnote.
This second story is a update on my post for last week.!
Good story, apart from the ending.
If it is Big Sean, then nothing ish imposhible, Mish Moneypenny.
Hehe – very true!
I don’t think that Bond will go down without a fight. Time and my pen will tell.
We shall see.
If it IS Connery — watch out! The whole museum is going bye-bye.
Dear Michael,
I hope Mr. Bond is only shaken and not stirred.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Just so, the stirring will come later.
This is simply marvelous. I am sure Mr Bond shall fight back.
I was pleased that the prompt allowed even encouraged a follow up story for Mr Bond.
It’ll be a tall order, trapping Jimmy boy for any length of time. Be intrigued to know how he gets out of this one 🙂
Me too. I hope that a prompt comes along to allow me to complete his journey.
I’m sure it will, Michael. 🙂
Nice! What happens to characters after we close the book or turn off the movie? question answered lol 🙂
Thank you. It feels like some characters in my stories have remained with me for years.
I know exactly what you mean. I am currently writing a trilogy and already have plans for spin offs, because I can’t bear the thought of parting with them.
So pleased that you are writing, good luck with the spin offs.
Thanks Michael. This story truly fulfills that yearning for Purpose in me.
That is good I think. Mike
Ah.. i would say that there are other planets where Bond can cause havoc…
I believe he hopes that if he causes enough havoc they will send him back to earth. Time will tell
Something tells me that Bond is not ready to be consigned to the character section of the museum just yet …
He certainly is not ready to give in yet, but I at present do not know how he intends to defeat Zorran. I was pleased to read your comment. Mike
Oh, Bond will win out. Nice take on the prompt.
He has so far, but as for the future, who knows?
I’d like to see him get out of this one! Bond always finds a way…
There’s definitely a Bond Sci-Fi spin off franchise in this!
That would be great.
The line about the ice on the walls really put me into the cold industrial space. Great idea a sci-fi James Bond.
Thank you so much for your comment. Mike
We asked for a sequel and you delivered, well done
We know James will conquer. He always does. He wouldn’t be James otherwise. Good writing, Mike. 🙂 — Suzanne
He needs help this time. Thank you Suzanne.
