Timeless
Prompt for Friday Fictioneers. Photograph from Lisa Fox.
Years back I carved here. May the gods smile on me, as their chariots cross the stars. My tribe built a stone circle as tribute to them. Yet they no longer visit. I had hoped that my runes would talk to future generations, until the star ships return. However time and nature took their toll on my script. Now
the tribes descendants only dine here. Yet perhaps one day the sky traveler’s will return and my story will be told.

I love this story, Michael and the idea of a Starman waiting and watching in the meantime.
