Destructive thunder
Thunder arrives at some point in life. Today I heard that thunder, as the tramp of feet pounded down my street. The legionaries allowed no resistance. Stand in their way and they knocked you to the floor. Trampling over women and children. For our men where all dead. They had hurried to stand against the invaders. Now we the wife’s will pay a high price.
At this time I am reviewing my manner of writing, so please except my apologies if my posts are less frequent. Mike
Realistic, ominous.
It’s good to review our own work now and then. I’m sure your efforts will result in your writing being better than ever 🙂
Thank you Linda,
Intriguing story that sadly has way too many real life parallels. The prose is well-written.
Thank you so much Anne
Women definitely got a tough time of it in those days.
And I guess that many still do, thank you Iain
